AWS E7016 is a kind of carbon steel electrode with low hydrogen potassium coating, used in all position welding with both AC and DC current. Good mechanical properties and crack resistance capacity can be obtained from the deposited metal.

 

  Application:welding of medium carbon steel and some important low alloy steel structures.

  

  Chemical composition of the deposited metal(%):

C≤0.12  Mn≤1.6   Si≤0.75  S≤0.035  P≤0.04
